As part of our commitment to the environment we adhere to both EUTR and FLEGT regulations, and hold chain of custody certification for both FSC®C022248 and PEFC™/16-37-923.

As holders of an externally accredited ISO14001 Certificate for Environmental Management we have proven to be continually proactive in our approach to environmental management. We identify and assess our environmental impact, set our own high standards and goals, and take the necessary actions to minimise our environmental impact.
Calders & Grandidge has signed up to the Strategy for Sustainable Construction 2008, a joint industry and government initiative that sets out specific commitments and targets to drive the sustainable construction agenda forward.
We have committed to work towards a zero waste to landfill target, and through initiatives currently in place we are well on our way to achieving this.
One such initiative is that all waste timber is collected and used as fuel to power our creosote plant. Meaning not only that less waste is sent to landfill, but also that our plant is largely self sufficient for fuel.
